Sacramento County, CA. – One person was injured in a traffic collision involving a large-wheel front loader that happened Wednesday morning near the Rosemont area of Sacramento County.

The wreck took place just before 6 a.m. on South Watt Avenue and Jackson Road.

It was not immediately clear why a white SUV collided with the construction vehicle.

One person died in the crash.

All traffic lanes in the area were shut down following the accident.

CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
