Vallejo, CA – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Columbus Parkway in Vallejo Sunday night.
According to the Vallejo Police Department, the incident happened at around 9:43 p.m. Sunday April 20 Â in the area of Columbus Parkway, just south of Devlin Drive.
Two vehicles collided in the area for unknown reasons.
A passenger in one of the vehicles was found unresponsive and trapped inside the car. Despite efforts of medical personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers involved in the collision were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. One of the drivers sustained serious injuries.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
Impaired driving was determined as a factor in the wreck.
