Encinitas, CA. – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle accident that took place Thursday morning in Encinitas, authorities reported.
The pileup occurred around 11:11 a.m. on the 5 Freeway near La Costa Avenue.
A white Tesla, a Toyota Prius, and a sedan were involved in the crash.
An occupant in the Prius complained of pain to the chest. Paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the victim.
The other car occupants were reportedly not injured.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
