According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported around 6 p.m. at Stockton Boulevard and Parker Avenue.
Two SUVs were involved in the collision.
Sacramento firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene shortly after the accident.
One person sustained minor injuries in the collision.
One of the vehicles was towed away with major left-side damage and a broken front left tire, and the other car was towed away with major front-end and major right-side damage.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
