Sacramento, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a car accident that occurred Thursday evening in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Two vehicles collided around 6:19 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, just north of the Sutterville Road off-ramp.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found a gray SUV overturned onto its side after colliding with a black pickup truck.
One person who sustained minor injuries in the crash was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
