Natalee Moghaddam Among 3 Victims of Deadly Burbank Crash at North Glenoaks Boulevard and Andover Drive
Burbank, California (August 5, 2021) – Natalee Asal Moghaddam, 19, of Calabasas was among three people killed in a Burbank car accident Tuesday morning, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office.
The incident was reported just before midnight on August 3, on North Glenoaks Boulevard and Andover Drive. The vehicles involved were identified as a Mercedes-Benz, a Volkswagen and a Kia.
According to authorities, three people riding in the Volkswagen were ejected when the Volkswagen was split in half by the impact. The Volkswagen also caught fire due to the wreck.
Natalee Moghaddam Among 3 Killed in Burbank Crash
The three occupants who were ejected, among them Moghaddam, died at the site of the accident. A woman in the vehicle suffered major injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The Kia crashed into parked cars in the area of Glenoaks Boulevard and Birmingham Road after the initial impact. The driver of the Kia sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The two people in the Mercedes were not harmed in the crash.
Authorities said street-racing is believed to be a factor in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
