Investigators reported that at least one motorcyclist and several other vehicles were involved in the collision. The vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of the 215 Freeway for reasons still under investigation.
CHP and emergency crews responded to the site of the collision and located the rider down in the freeway lanes.

All 215 Freeway lanes were shut down for over one hour as authorities worked to clear the scene. As of 6 p.m., all lanes had been reopened.
