Authorities said the driver of a Ford Fusion rear-ended the 45-year-old motorcyclist and fled the scene.

San Diego, CA. – A 45-year-old motorcyclist was severely injured in a hit-and-run accident that happened early Saturday morning in the Mount Hope community of San Diego.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. in the 3500 block of Market Street.
Authorities said the driver of a Ford Fusion rear-ended the 45-year-old motorcyclist and fled the scene.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital with serious injuries, including a brain bleed and a fractured pelvis.
Officers later located the suspected vehicle unoccupied in National City. Its alleged driver was also found and arrested.
Details about the ages, genders, and names of the victim and suspect were not available.
