Portland, OR– Authorities are investigating a major crash that left a motorcyclist dead in Northeast Portland on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the authorities, the incident took place at about 3:45 p.m. September 2, on Northeast Lombard Street and 15th Avenue.
According to the report, a motorcyclist and a car collided near the intersection for unspecified reasons.
The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance.
As the ambulance passed the area of Lombard Street and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, it got into another accident.
A second ambulance transported the motorcyclist to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
The driver involved in the initial collision with the motorcyclist was transported with minor injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
