Covina, CA. – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after colliding with a car Wednesday afternoon on a freeway in Covina.
The California Highway Patrol received reports of the collision around 5:19 p.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway near Holt Avenue.
A motorcycle and a red truck were involved in the accident, blocking the HOV lane.
The rider was down in traffic lanes after the crash. Another motorcyclist was also at the scene.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to the hospital with major injuries.
The HOV and the No. 1 lane remained closed during the investigation.
