Camarillo, CA. – Minor injuries were reported in a DUI traffic collision that happened Wednesday night on Highway 101 in Camarillo, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 8:27 p.m. on the southbound lanes of the highway, halfway up the Conejo Grade.
A white Tesla and a gray Honda were involved in the crash.
The Tesla lost a tire that ended up in the middle lanes. The Honda sustained all-around crash damage.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and offered medical aid to at least one person who sustained minor injuries.
Authorities said intoxication played a role in the crash. One person was arrested for DUI and DUI exceeding the legal limit charges.
An investigation is ongoing.
