According to WSP, McKenna Walters, 18, of East Wenatchee, was driving a 2014 Chevy Cruze eastbound on Road 9 NW when Walters failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with a 1998 Toyota Camry heading south on Highway 283

Ephrata, WA.- Two people were injured in a crash between two vehicles at an intersection in Ephrata on Monday morning, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 283 at Road 9 NW at around 10 a.m. on August 4.
According to WSP, McKenna Walters, 18, of East Wenatchee, was driving a 2014 Chevy Cruze eastbound on Road 9 NW when Walters failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with a 1998 Toyota Camry heading south on Highway 283.
The Toyota was being driven by Silvino Ortega-Cruz, 26, of Royal City.
Both drivers were injured and were taken to Confluence Health Hospital’s Central Campus in Wenatchee.
The WSP reported that Walters was expected to be cited for failing to stop for a stop sign.
The incident is under investigation.
