Drake was not wearing a seatbelt when he crossed the center line and hit a southbound vehicle. Drake was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Stevens County, WA. – Authorities identified Martin Drake, 51, of Kettle Falls as man killed after a car crash on State Route 395 in Stevens County Friday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident was reported at around 3:45 p.m. August 2 on Highway 395 near Bakie Road.
Drake was not wearing a seatbelt when he crossed the center line and hit a southbound vehicle. Drake was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The two people in the southbound vehicle, an adult and 9-year-old boy, were uninjured.
No additional information about the crash was provided.
An investigation is underway.
