, CA. – A man who was killed Thursday morning after his vehicle went over the side of a cliff in the Angeles National Forest near Arcadia has been identified.

The victim was 29-year-old Mark Camberos, according to the Department of Medical Examiner.

The fatal crash was reported around 8 a.m. on Chantry Flat Road near the Santa Anita Dam, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Temple Station.

A county worker spotted a car leaning over a cliff before it went down the embankment toward the road leading to the dam.

Details remain unclear on how the vehicle ended up in that position.

Officials said the driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Arcadia, CA. – A man was killed Thursday morning when his car went over the side of a cliff in the Angeles National Forest near Arcadia.

The crash was reported around 8 a.m. on Chantry Flat Road near the Santa Anita Dam, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

A county worker reportedly saw the vehicle teetering over the edge before it plunged down the embankment.

Authorities said the man was ejected from the vehicle, dying at the scene.

The Fire Department assisted deputies at the scene.
