Maria Vann and Bobbie among 4 Killed in Colusa County Helicopter Crash near Reservation Road and Highway 45
Colusa County, California (August 3, 2021) – Four people who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday afternoon in Colusa County have been identified.
According to the Colusa County Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred at around 1:15 p.m., August 1, in a tomato field in the area of Reservation Road and Highway 45, just 7 miles north of the city of Colusa.
As per the preliminary investigation, four people were on board the Robinson R66 helicopter and were all pronounced dead at the scene.
The victims were identified as Maria Vann, 60, Bobbie Lee Keaton, 62, Bernard Vann, 67, and Charles Thomas Wilson, 71, all from Williams.
More details regarding the tragic incident were not provided.
The National Transportation Safety Board and FAA is investigating the accident.
