Fresno County, CA.- The woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Fresno County early Saturday morning has been identified as Maria Paredes, 74, according to the authorities.
The incident took place on Clinton Avenue just east of Bond Street at about 5:30 a.m. March 15.
The authorities reported that Paredes was using a walker on westbound Clinton Avenue when she was struck by a vehicle.
Paredes died following the accident.
The involved driver remained at the scene and was not suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
