A preliminary investigation indicated a southbound Ford F150 operated by Robin Miles Bihm, 26, of Coos Bay, failed to negotiate a left hand curve. The Ford traveled onto the southbound shoulder, overcorrected back onto the roadway, and entered the northbound lane.
Douglas County, CA. –Margaret Ann Wells,76, of Tonasket (WA), was identified as a passenger killed in a head-on collision on Highway 101 in Douglas County on Friday.
According to the Oregon State Police, the crash happened on State Route 101 near milepost 202, September 13.

The Ford then collided head on with a northbound Toyota Tundra, operated by Alan Kent Mcilhenny, 72, of Tonasket (WA).
Bihm, Mcilhenny, Barbara Jean Mcilhenny, 74, of Tonasket (WA), James Otis Wells, 79, of Tonasket (WA), and Wells were all transported to the hospital for treatment, where Wells was declared deceased.
No additional details regarding the mishap were provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
