Man Killed in Concord Pedestrian Accident on Kirker Pass Road near Clearbrook Drive
Concord, California (July 31, 2021) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle in Concord on Saturday morning, according to police.
The incident happened on Kirker Pass Road near Clearbrook Drive at about 5 a.m.
Police said a 25-year-old man was walking across the road when a southbound vehicle struck him.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene of the accident.
The involved motorist, a 30-year-old man, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Two lanes on Kirker Pass Road were blocked for hours as authorities examined the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
