Riverside, CA. – A 60-year-old man was killed in a suspected DUI car crash on Saturday morning in Riverside.
According to the Riverside Police Department, the fatal collision happened at the intersection of University Avenue and Park Avenue at around 10:30 a.m.
A 24-year-old woman was driving a gray 2019 Toyota Camry was westbound on University when she collided with a 2004-year-old Nissan Titan pickup truck traveling south on Park.
The 60-year-old man driving the pickup truck was killed in the accident.
The woman was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert and was found to be driving under the influence of cannabis. She was arrested at the scene and booked on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
