Long Beach police said a Nissan Roque was traveling east on 10th Street when it crashed into a Honda Accord that was trying to make a U-turn from the south shoulder

Long Beach, CA.- A man was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Long Beach early Tuesday morning, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
At around 4:30 a.m., authorities responded to the scene of a crash near 10th Street and Orange Avenue.
Long Beach police said a Nissan Roque was traveling east on 10th Street when it crashed into a Honda Accord that was trying to make a U-turn from the south shoulder.
The man who was driving the Honda was transported to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
Police said the driver of the Nissan cooperated with the investigators.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
Impairment was not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
An investigation into collision is ongoing.
