A man in his 30s was reportedly driving a Honda Accord northbound on Highway 99 when he crashed into the rear of a semi-truck

Tulare County, CA.- A man was flown to a hospital after a collision involving a big rig in Tulare County on Thursday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on Highway 99 at Avenue 384 shortly before 8 p.m. January 23.
A man in his 30s was reportedly driving a Honda Accord northbound on Highway 99 when he crashed into the rear of a semi-truck.
The driver of the Honda was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
The CHP reported that alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
