Sacramento, CA. – At least one person was severely injured in a multi-vehicle collision that took place Friday evening in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident took place around 6:18 p.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, just south of the Arena Boulevard off-ramp.
According to CHP, a gold Nissan Rogue, a silver Hyundai, and a red sedan were involved in the collision.
At least one person was seriously hurt in the crash. The victim was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
At least two of the vehicles were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the collision.
