According to the CHP, a blue Toyota sedan and a grey Ford Ranger pickup truck were involved in the incident

Lamont, CA.– The California Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that resulted in major injuries in the Lamont area on Tuesday morning.
Authorities responded at around 8:30 a.m. to a two-vehicle collision near South Fairfax Road and Buena Vista Boulevard.
According to the CHP, a blue Toyota sedan and a grey Ford Ranger pickup truck were involved in the incident.
A passenger in the Toyota left the scene in another vehicle after the crash.
At least two people were taken to a hospital and one of them had major injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
