A motorcycle and an SUV were involved in the crash.
First responders found the rider down in the roadway.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
Both the motorcycle and the SUV were towed away from the scene. The SUV acquired major front-end damage.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
