Rider Suffers Major Injuries in 10 Freeway Motorcycle Crash near Herbert Avenue in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (September 30, 2021) – A motorcyclist is nursing serious injuries sustained in a traffic collision that happened Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Emergency crews responded to eastbound 10 Freeway, just east of N Herbert Avenue, after receiving reports about the accident.
The collision occurred at about 5:36 p.m. involving a motorcycle and a black Nissan Sentra.

The rider was lying down in traffic lanes after the accident.
Firefighters blocked the Nos. 1, 2, and 3 lanes following the incident.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries in the accident. The patient was taken to an unspecified hospital for treatment.
All traffic lanes were reopened at 6:18 p.m.4An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
