Los Angeles, CA – Two people died, and four others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday morning near an intersection in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the collision was reported around 10:44 a.m. in the 3328 block of West 78th Street near Crenshaw Boulevard.

Los Angeles police, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and found multiple vehicles involved in the crash.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene, LAFD reported.

Four others were evaluated at the scene before being transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

Details about the manner of the accident and the ages and genders of the victims were not available.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the collision.
