Minor Injuries Suffered in Livermore Car Collision on 580 Freeway near First Street On-Ramp
Livermore, California (August 3, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that happened Monday afternoon on a freeway in Livermore.
The California Highway Patrol said the pileup occurred at around 4:27 p.m. on eastbound 580 Freeway, just west of First Street on-ramp.
Authorities said a fully-dressed Harley-Davidson motorcycle and two cars collided for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help those involved.
The report said the incident resulted in minor injuries. The number of injured parties, however, was not mentioned.
CHP is collecting more information to establish the cause of the collision.
