Motorcyclist Dies, Pedestrian Injured in La Habra Crash at Beach Boulevard and Sheffield Drive
La Habra, California (August 2, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon in a traffic crash that also injured a pedestrian in La Habra, according to the La Habra Police Department.
The deadly crash occurred just after 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Sheffield Drive.
Police said the motorcyclist collided with a car at the intersection. Debris from the crash hit a nearby pedestrian.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident in La Habra
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the motorcyclist. He was then transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The pedestrian was not seriously injured in the crash while the driver of the car involved did not suffer any injuries.
Police temporarily closed Southbound Beach Boulevard at Lambert Road while the investigation took place.
The crash remains under investigation.
