The accident occurred just before 7 p.m. near the 31000 block of Romero Canyon Road south of Castaic High School.

Castaic, CA. – A Kern County firefighter sustained major injuries after their truck overturned nearly 200 feet over a ridge and down a steep hillside in Castaic, authorities reported.
The accident occurred just before 7 p.m. near the 31000 block of Romero Canyon Road south of Castaic High School.
Other firefighters responded to the scene and found the victim out of the vehicle with major injuries.
The firefighter was airlifted to Henry Mayo Medical Center in Valencia for treatment.
