San Luis Obispo, CA.- The man who was killed in an auto-pedestrian collision in San Luis Obispo on Saturday evening has been identified by the California Highway Patrol.
Jonas Michael Gillespie, 45, of Paso Robles, was killed in the crash that happened at around 7:14 p.m. September 8, on Highway 101 near Madonna Road.
According to the CHP, a car struck a pedestrian in the southbound lanes of Highway 101.
It's unclear what caused the accident.
CHP reported that Gillespie died in the incident.
There was no further information on the accident.
The CHP is investigating the crash.
