Police reported that Verdugo was speeding in the area when his vehicle crashed and flipped

Marana, AZ.- The man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Marana on Saturday morning has been identified as Jesus Verdugo, 42, according to the Marana Police Department.
The wreck happened on West Twin Peaks and North Blue Bonnet roads at around 4 a.m. September 13.
Police reported that Verdugo was speeding in the area when his vehicle crashed and flipped.
Verdugo was ejected from the vehicle, which burst into flames after the crash.
According to MPD, Verdugo was killed in the crash.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
The MPD is conducting an investigation into the collision.
