Highland Park, CA.- Gerardo Estrada, 30, was hit and killed by a Los Angeles Police Department vehicle in the Highland Park area on Friday evening.
According to the LAPD, the incident was reported at around 7:23 p.m. September 19, on Woodside Drive and North Figueroa Street.
The police patrol car was responding to a call with its lights and sirens on when it struck Estrada, who was riding on a skateboard in the roadway.
Estrada died in the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
