According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6:28 p.m. on Bethel Avenue near Highway 180.
A silver sedan reportedly collided head-on with a Jeep Wrangler in unclear circumstances.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
