The crash was reported to authorities just before 4 a.m. on October 18, 2026, on the Mission Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound 880 Freeway.

Multiple vehicles, including a white Honda Clarity Hybrid, a Toyota Sienna, and a Ford F-150 pickup truck, were involved in the accident.

A female occupant of one of the vehicles was trapped inside.

Authorities said one person was killed in the crash.

Investigators closed all but the far-left lane of the southbound 880 Freeway and the Mission Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound 880 Freeway.
