Madera County, CA. – One person died, and another was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in North Fork, Madera County, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A sedan and a truck were involved in the accident.
A 69-year-old North Fork woman was driving the sedan eastbound when she drifted into the westbound lane at a curve and collided with a Chevy Silverado driven by a 75-year-old Fresno man.
The report said the woman died in the crash.
The man was hospitalized with major injuries.
No other details were available, but an investigation is ongoing.
