San Joaquin County, CA. – A 43-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Sunday afternoon in Farmington, San Joaquin County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Escalon-Bellota Road near Highway 4 at around 1 p.m.

A Ford pickup slowed to make a left turn when a 2008 Honda motorcycle failed to recognize the slowing vehicle and collided with the trailer.

The motorcyclist and his passenger, a 41-year-old woman, were ejected from the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
