Fallbrook, California (December 22, 2021) – Four people were hospitalized Tuesday evening following a traffic collision involving two vehicles in Fallbrook, according to a local news source.

The two-car crash happened at around 5:46 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, on South Mission Road near Rocky Crest Road.

As per the local news report, a BMW SUV collided with an Audi 6 for unknown reasons on South Mission Road near the entrance to Pepper Tree Park.

Both vehicles acquired moderate damage to their front end in the crash.

4 Hurt in Mission Road Collision

Authorities said four patients were taken to area hospitals with unspecified injuries. The identities of the victims and their condition were not immediately available.

The northbound lanes of Mission Road were blocked at Rocky Crest Road due to the crash.

No further details were given.

The collision remains under investigation.
