Eureka, CA – A woman was sent to a hospital following a collision involving multiple vehicles at an intersection in Eureka on Thursday afternoon.
According to the authorities, the wreck took place at around 2:50 p.m. January 29, in the area of 14th and C streets.
A preliminary investigation determined that three vehicles were involved in the accident. At this time, the cause of the collision remains undetermined.
Airbags were reportedly deployed in two of the involved vehicles. A 24-year-old woman who was driving a red sedan was transported by ambulance to a hospital with a wrist injury.
The conditions of the other involved parties were not immediately released.
The red sedan sustained major front-end damage due to the collision.
Authorities are conducting an investigation to establish the exact cause of the incident.
