According to police, Wright was walking in the area when she was struck by a vehicle
Desert Hot Springs, CA.- Elizabeth Wright, 45, of Yucca Valley, was killed in a pedestrian crash that happened early Monday morning in Desert Hot Springs, according to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
The crash happened on Palm Drive near Varner Road at about 5 a.m. January 27.
According to police, Wright was walking in the area when she was struck by a vehicle.
Despite life-saving measures performed on the pedestrian, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The Desert Hot Springs Police Department is investigating the accident.
