Pima County, AZ.- An elderly man was injured in a rollover crash in Pima County on Sunday morning, according to the Santa Rita Fire District.
The accident took place on the Interstate 19 South Frontage Road near Duval Road on Sunday, November 9.
A 91-year-old man was driving on the frontage road when he crashed off the roadway and overturned.
The man was pulled out of the vehicle by the responding fire crews.
He complained of pain throughought his body and a hand injury.
The man was taken to Banner University Medical Center – Main Campus for treatment.
No further details were immediately provided.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
