, California (August 4, 2021) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who died Monday afternoon following a collision with a car in La Habra as Dustin Tinoco, 21, of .

The deadly crash occurred just after 4:40 p.m. Monday, August 2, at the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Sheffield Drive.

Police said Tinoco was riding his motorcycle in the area when, for unknown reasons, he collided with a car at the intersection.

Debris from the crash hit a nearby pedestrian.

Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident in La Habra Identified

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical aid to Tinoco. He was then transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The pedestrian was not seriously injured in the crash, while the car driver did not suffer any injuries.

Police temporarily closed Southbound Beach Boulevard at Lambert Road while the investigation took place.

The crash remains under investigation.
