Dillon Crossman Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 49 near Pegleg Road in Bootjack
Mariposa County, California (May 11, 2022) – Dillon Crossman, 33, of Oakhurst, has been identified as the rider who was killed in a motorcycle accident last month in the Bootjack area of Mariposa County.
The fatal motorcycle accident happened at around 2:40 p.m., April 28, on Highway 49 near Pegleg Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A 66-year-old woman driving a 2022 Toyota pickup was making a left turn into a private driveway when it was struck by a motorcycle operated by Crossman.
Crossman was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was unhurt.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
