Davis Accident on Interstate 80 at Richards Boulevard Results in Major Injuries
Davis, California (September 6, 2021) – At least one person sustained major injuries following a traffic collision in Davis early Sunday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury truck crash took place on Interstate 80 (Dwight Eisenhower Highway) near the Richards Boulevard offramp just before 3:00 a.m.
The CHP said a big rig was traveling west on Highway 80 when it crashed into the center divider on September 5.
The initial report indicated that a white Honda Accord acquired major front-end damage after colliding with the truck.

At least one unidentified person sustained major injuries following the collision.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
