Willows, CA. – A 74-year-old moped rider was killed in a collision on Wednesday afternoon in Willows.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of West Sycamore and North Culver Streets.
74-year-old Elton Garner was driving a pickup truck when he pulled out from a stop sign and struck a moped driven by 65-year-old Daniel Perry.
Perry was ejected from the moped and was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
