Santa Rosa, CA. – A bicyclist died after being struck by a car Saturday afternoon in Windsor, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident occurred around 1:11 p.m. in the 5901 block of Old Redwood Highway near Shiloh Road.

A cyclist was hit by a gray Range Rover under unclear circumstances.

The rider died from injuries suffered in the crash.

The car was towed away for evidence.
