Concord, CA – A Saturday morning collision on State Route 4 in Concord left at least one person with major injuries.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, the wreck occurred around 5:15 a.m. on eastbound SR-4 just east of the Port Chicago Highway on-ramp.
A black Tesla and an older Mercedes-Benz were involved in the crash. The Tesla acquired moderate rear-end damage, and the Mercedes sustained major front-end damage in the collision.
At least one person sustained serious injuries in the accident.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
