2 Injured in Coarsegold Collision on Highway 41 at Pony Express Lane Wednesday afternoon
Coarsegold, California (September 1, 2021) – Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a traffic accident in Coarsegold, Madera County, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash occurred at around 2:10 p.m. on Highway 41 at Pony Express Lane, in front of the United States Postal Service.
Authorities said a white GMC Chevrolet pickup truck collided with a gray Toyota RAV4 SUV for undetermined reasons near a construction zone.

One person sustained minor lacerations, while another victim complained of back pain and a hurt wrist. Both patients were treated at the scene by responding paramedics.
