A 2014 Ford Explorer was traveling westbound on Taft Highway when it collided with an eastbound 2024 Kenworth semi-truck
Bakersfield, CA. – 38-year-old Brandy Nichole Naff was killed in a car crash on Tuesday in Bakersfield.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Taft Highway near Tupman Road.
Naff was driving a 2014 Ford Explorer westbound on Taft Highway when he collided with an eastbound 2024 Kenworth semi-truck driven by a 30-year-old man from Strawberry Plains, Tennessee.
The impact of the collision sent the Ford in a northwesterly direction and came to rest on the north dirt shoulder.
Naff was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck was hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
