Saugus, CA.- The man who was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Saugus over the weekend has been identified as Brad Whitley, 55, of Simi Valley, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office.
The incident took place on David Way and Bouquet Canyon Road shortly before 7 a.m. November 8.
A truck with two occupants drifted off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
Whitley was one of the vehicle's occupants and was declared deceased at the site of the accident
A second man was stuck in the wreckage and was pulled out by the Los Angeles County Fire crews.
The patient was then flown to Henry Mayo Hospital for treatment.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
