Sacramento, CA. – A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured after colliding with a car as he rode a sports bike in Foothill Farms on Thursday evening.
At around 5:41 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a collision on Interstate 80 near the exit to Greenback Lane.
The teenager was riding a motorcycle when he crashed into the rear of an SUV.
The unidentified teenager suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the SUV was also taken to a hospital for a complaint of pain.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
